The final countdown.

As with pretty much everything else at uni this coming week is crunch time for our exertion game.
We have decided to call it Spongeoline, making something of a focal point out of the protective sponges.
So, what are we all doing to get this off the ground?
Estelle- Is doing the coding this weekend, with assistance from Nick Se (and others?) for some initial testing.
Nicks-Both Nicks are going to be trying to get in touch with some media. Floyd suggests using emails and sending them to editors of newspapers/magazines/websites etc. It might be a good idea to invite them to demo night but make sure you give a nice speel about why our game is good ie: combats obesity in a fun way, allows strangers to compete, makes sponges fun again etc. Also include the flier for the demo night?
Mickey- Is working on our poster
Candy-buying the sponges + cardboard + Velcro or tabs for tomorrow so Estelle and co can use them to test. Also making another blog connected to this account to be our games 'website'.

Melbourne central demo- We're planning to have a demo on Wednesday at Melbourne central where we will be able to collect footage and photos for our presentation. Estelle will bring the game stuff, Nick Se will bring some music to play, Candy will bring some paper and a text and her camera, Nick Sa will bring his showmanship and Mickey will bring his video camera.
I'm not sure what time we are doing this on Wednesday. If we decided already let me know else suggest on here or we'll sort it out later.
Nick is then going to edit our video like last time which we will somehow shove onto the blog while Mickey finishes up the poster.

Ok everyone. MAN YOUR BATTLE STATIONS *sigh*

PS. Here is the blog for our game:

You can get to it via our profile from this blog or follow the link here. Same account as this blog.

  1. Hey guys.
Sounds good Candy, as we discussed in class.. Just as far as the Wii motes go, bringing them tomorrow.. They may need batteries.. they have a rechargeable kit, but would it be better to get a series of double A batteries or just charge these ones hoping they will last?.. And btw Candy yeah love the tagline for it haha :P ..

  2. Charge the ones you have. If we need some more it's pretty easy to just go buy some if we need to.

  4. How long do you think the demo will take? Are we going to do it before or after 12.30 GS1 lecture? If we do it after can we please try to finish up around 2.30ish, because I have a family appointment. That's 2 hours yes?
